HSC scaling data
How a raw HSC mark becomes a scaled mark UAC can compare across every subject, shown at five real percentile points for each subject.
Complete Subject Scaling Table
For each subject, this shows the raw mark a student needed to sit at the 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th and 99th percentile of that subject’s cohort, and what that raw mark scaled to. The calculator interpolates between these points for any raw mark you enter.
| Subject | Raw mark at percentile | Scaled mark at percentile | ||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | 50 | 75 | 90 | 99 | 25 | 50 | 75 | 90 | 99 | |
How to read it: if your predicted raw mark sits near the 75th percentile figure for your subject, your scaled mark will sit near the matching 75th percentile scaled figure. The calculator does this interpolation automatically — try it on the HSC calculator.
